What exactly is a Digital Wedding Album, it's a technological breakthrough that allows large printing companies to print a book or Wedding Album as a "one off". To have asked for this service where an Album is created in book form with your Images printed directly onto a Photographic quality Album page would have been impossible. Modern technology and some straightforward thinking has allowed large printing works to offer this service at very reasonable prices. So your Images captured at your Wedding can be custom printed straight into a Wedding Album and exactly as your Photographer wishes to compose that Album for you.

The Digital Album starts life at the printers in Europe as blank pages, it is only when your Photographers files are received that the book comes to life. In reality it actually starts as blank pieces of photographic paper, that are printed on high speed machinery and compiled into an Album and the cover is prepared and fitted as the final stage of the process. Because the Album is CUSTOM, the only fact I can give you is the physical dimensions at 20 x 29 cms with the option of 50 or 70 pages ( 50 pages recommended ) The Cover is 540 gsm heavy card with a quilted feel to it. ( Ordinary office paper is usually 80gsm ) The manufacturer employs a solid bookbinding system that will allow the Album to open fully at 180 degrees to lay flat so you can see perfectly any two page Panoramic shots. The pages are approx double that of ordinary photographic paper, available in Gloss or Matt finish.
Because I use the files generated from your Wedding Photographs you are not involved in any extra charges for re prints or enlargements, all the content for your Album is with me and ready to use. Should you however require an excessive amount of Photoshop work I would have to quote, the Designer Album I am offering is superb and to add extraneous content in the form of Photoshop manipulation may not always be advisable.
When your order is placed with the manufacturer it goes via the Internet avoiding postal delays this surfaces in the factory and is stacked for printing and dispatch back to the UK. Multiple Album orders of the same kind can be placed at a discount.

So what is possible on 70 pages, bearing in mind that the average Wedding takes between 100 - 200 shots. On 70 pages you can have between 35 - 1,960 Images that is why I recommend the 50 page version.  Front and Back Covers, perhaps you would like to be on the Cover Photo we can run the Image round the spine and completely cover the back cover for you. ( Panoramic ). Perhaps you would like to see the Church or Venue emblazoned on the covers, if you prefer there are quite a few standard " Book " type covers available in Maroon, Burgundy or White. Text and Images ( Boxed ) can be placed on the covers and inside on the pages with the Images

Downside.
While the Album is superb, and cannot be faulted in itself, there is a marked lack of themed backgrounds, this is a distinct disadvantage for Wedding work. I have produced my own suite of Backgrounds covering some 200 pages and still climbing. The new high quality Alpha Channel backgrounds are exclusive to myself i.e. Adrian Allen Photography, they are all high resolution and have been checked pixel by pixel for quality, in short they are superb. and for an Album of this calibre £ 84.00 is a total bargain.. Prices will rise next year to take into account the digital input, order this year and save the price hike of £ 200.00.

If you require the Digital Album please order in good time, the Album is designed to reflect the Day and as such some of the shooting is orientated towards producing the Album, ordering it after the Wedding can detract slightly from the finished product.
